Dragoman was founded in 2005 by Ümit Özaydın as an interpreting agency. The company expanded into translation, video subtitling and language technologies in the next few years.

Today, Dragoman offers translation, on-site & remote interpreting, video subtitling & dubbing and language technologies. We are a Level-2 registered vendor of United Nations and hold long term regional / global translation, editing and interpreting agreements with several UN agencies. Our core languages are English, French, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Chinese, Turkish, Portuguese, German, Serbian, Albanian, Farsi, Ukranian and Vietnamese. Together with our partners, we service in over 150 languages of the world.

Graphic designers on our team help you better localize & transcreate your content into different languages, territories and cultures.

Our machine translation and automation services help you save time and money. Our community interpreters support healthcare, law enforcement, public transport and immigration agencies. Thanks to our technology friendly team of expert linguists, we can provide online interpretation, translation, sign language and captioning services at a very high degree of customer satisfaction.

ISO 17100 Certified Translation

We claimed our first EN 15038 translation certification as early as 2007, only two years after this translation services standard was released. Over the years we maintained and improved our translation quality standards and we are currently ISO 17100 certified. ISO 17100 confirms that we adhere to highest quality standards when managing our translation and interpreting business.

Obtaining an ISO standard is a great opportunity for learning and self-discovery. We are happy to renew our ISO certificates over the years by passing multiple audits. This is a further assurance that Dragoman team delivers very good translation services.

This ISO 23155:2022 certification confirms that Dragoman delivers conference interpreting services with the highest professional standards.
