Just last week Montenegro has closed another five negotiation chapters. This marks twelve closed chapters and is huge progress for the country, but there is still a long way to go, as we need to close another 21 chapters. Hard work awaits our experts on EU integration; laws must be diligently revised and a plan of coordination with the EU laws needs to be put in place. All of this will require the help of experienced translators and interpreters that can gain the council’s full trust.

Expert interpreters and quality conference equipment

A team of experienced and resourceful interpreters should be assigned to all multilingual meetings. They will make sure everything goes smoothly, as they have meticulously researched the subject of conversation beforehand and are there to make sure every bit of information gets properly interpreted and understood by everyone present. Such meetings also call for conference equipment that should follow ISO standards. That includes interpretation booths, interpreter consoles, transmitter and receiver systems, headsets, microphones and a sound system. In case of hybrid meetings, an HD camera is also added, along with sound amplifiers.

In cases where only one person needs an interpreter, this is a huge undertaking, so whispering interpretation comes as a wonderful solution. The interpreter will still work simultaneously but they will be wispering the interpretation, so they won’t impact the flow of the meeting.

Infoport systems

In situations where a delegation needs to visit several locations, but need interpretation services, there is a perfect solution. Infoport is a compact and easy to use wireless simultaneous interpreting system, with about 100 meters of audio range. There is a transmitter and receiver and listeners can choose their preferred language channel.

Quality translators

Working on changing current local laws to fit the EU standards requires a lot of coordination with foreign EU experts. A lot of documents need to be translated to introduce their laws to our specialists. Specialized translators will make sure all laws, documents used in preparation for meetings, or the paperwork and reports that follow the work progress are translated accordingly.

When using machine translation, an editor is indispensable

We have entered a new era where artificial intelligence is becoming more prominent by the day. But, translations of such importance shouldn’t be left to AI, as it is prone to mistakes, and the percentage of them rises as we move from English to other languages that AI is less trained in. In a hurry, it may seem tempting to speed up the translation in this way, but if machine translation is used it is of utmost importance to get a native expert to proofread it, a service now known as MTPE (machine translation post editing).
